Please avoid allowing any water, lotion, soap, or makeup to come into contact with your eyebrow area for the first 7 days following your procedure.
When washing your face, take care to avoid the treated area and try not to splash it with water. During showers, keep your face away from the direct flow of the shower head, or consider taking baths instead.
In the first week post-procedure, you may notice itching and flaking. It’s important not to pick or scratch the area, as doing so can remove scabs prematurely, potentially leading to patchy results or scarring.
Starting from the fourth day post-procedure, ensure your hands are clean before gently applying the post-care ointment with a cotton swab.
For the entire 14 days after your procedure, AVOID the following:
- Increased sweating
- Engaging in sports
- Swimming
- Entering hot saunas, baths, or Jacuzzis
- Sun tanning or salon tanning
- Exposure to UV/UVA rays or harsh chemicals which can cause color shifts and faster fading
- Undergoing any laser or chemical treatments, peelings, or applying creams containing Retin-A or Glycolic acid on the treated area
- Picking, peeling, or scratching the micropigmented area to prevent scarring and pigment loss
- Conducting heavy household cleaning, especially in areas like garages or basements where airborne debris is common
- Excessive alcohol consumption, as it can impede the healing process
- Driving in open-air vehicles such as convertibles, boats, bicycles, or motorcycles
- Touching the eyebrow area except when necessary for rinsing and applying post-care cream as directed with a cotton swab
By following these guidelines, you can help ensure the best possible outcome for your eyebrow treatment.
